Delete from the app

You can permanently delete your Lucend account at any time, directly from the app:

1. Open the Lucend app and go to the Account screen.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and personal data are deleted immediately upon confirmation, with any remaining copies removed from our systems within 30 days (see retention below).

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, you can request account deletion by emailing us from the address associated with your account at [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your identity and process the request.

Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove the personal data associated with it, including:

• Account information (email, name, authentication data)
• Profile and preferences (interests, topics, connected sources, listening history)
• Contextual data (location, connected calendars, timezone)
• Push notification tokens and device identifiers

Data that may be retained

Personal data is permanently removed within 30 days of your request. We may retain a limited set of records for longer only where required by law (for example, billing and transaction records needed for tax and accounting obligations). Subscription billing is managed by the App Store or Google Play; cancel your subscription there to stop future charges, as deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.
